About Me

I became a designer because I like to express myself in creative ways. I want a career where I can still use the creative side of my brain. Graphic Design allows me to work in different mediums to get the best product possible, and because of this, I often find myself challenged and get to work out new techniques, which keeps me active and inspired to keep creating.

I am often inspired by the professors and professional work I have seen throughout my college career. I also find a lot of beauty in the works of Wes Anderson and Greta Gerwig. They can get so much emotion out of every project they work on. Although Graphic Design is so much different than directing films, I still find their work inspirational.

I have gained and developed many skills throughout my education at SUNY Cobleskill. With professors and peers who are always willing to share their knowledge, I can always learn from these great minds. I have gained knowledge of Adobe Sweep and the ability to create and manipulate projects.

Experience

For the last year, I have been working as a tutor for the Graphic Design program at SUNY Cobleskill. I possess a strong work ethic and am goal-oriented and while being a tutor, I have developed my teamwork skills and leadership abilities to create a positive work environment.

Outside of SUNY Cobleskill, I also volunteered for the Sons of Italy. I would develop posters for their monthly dinners and help serve the meals. I worked with the club president to discuss designs and create projects to convey his desires. This experience taught me what it is like to work outside of the classroom and how to communicate with clients properly.
